India Vs Australia Women’s T20 World Cup Final was played on International Women’s day at Melbourne Cricket Ground. The crowd was huge around 86 thousand above.
Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney started the inning and Healy blasted 75 off 39 balls, while Mooney scored an unbeaten 78. Captain MM Lanning scored 16 runs off 15 balls, A Gardner scored 2 off 3 balls , RL Haynes scored 4 of 5 balls. India was nervous and their fielding poor, with the batswomen running quick singles. Australia scored 184/4 runs which is the biggest targest as per womens Cricket to achieve and won against India.
India’s batting opening by Shefali Varma as she on N0.1 position in Women T20 ranking but India got off to a poor start and lost four wickets inside the powerplay overs. Team didn’t chase much runs and all team were bowled out for 99 runs in 19.1 overs.
